I want to share with you news of some changes. Firstly, I have made a difficult but necessary decision to step back from the editorship in order to focus on my studies and dissertation. And, secondly, I am delighted to announce that Dawn Gwilt, my colleague and friend, has volunteered to take on the baton of editor-in-chief.
I take immense pleasure in welcoming Dawn as the right person to step into this role. She has been involved from the start, writing an article for the first edition of the journal, and initiating our writing support group, which was launched recently, adding to the support and contact available to new gestalt voices in the field.
I’m grateful to be in a position to hand over to Dawn a now established and thriving journal and community. I remain committed to the journal and to NGV’s wider aspirations to build community and opportunity for connection right across the gestalt profession, and will continue to be involved, particularly with some of our important projects such as the start-up of a Greek sister journal.
I am immensely grateful for all the support I have received during my time as editor-in-chief. I look forward to continuing the work we have started, as well as enjoying more free time – at least, once my dissertation is finished!
